Flowers, Berry Picking & Picnicking

Perennial Flower Gardens: You can visit and walk through perennial flower gardens at Judith' Bed and Breakfast, Blueberry Hill Inn, and at Branbury State Park.

Berry picking: Wild berries abound in the Moosalamoo NRA. As you hike the trails, be on the lookout for wild strawberries, currants, blackberries, and raspberries. Wild apples trees are also found throughout the region.  Wild blueberries can be picked in the Blueberry Management Area located off of the Goshen-Ripton Road (FR 32) and cultivated blueberries can be picked at the Blueberry Hill Inn.

Picnicking: If you are looking for easy and accessible places to picnic, we recommend: Robert Frost Wayside, Robert Frost Interpetive Trails, Voter Brook and Silver Lake, and the Falls of Lana. In the Moosalamoo Region, Branbury State Park and Waterhouses offer accommodations on Lake Dunmore.
